LINEAGE — Mother + Daughter Exhibition | 2025

LINEAGE was a very special exhibition for me, bringing my photographic work together with the paintings of my mother, artist and art educator Pam Black, at Art Post Gallery in Gympie.

Two different mediums and two individual practices, brought together by a shared creative lineage.

The exhibition included works from my Ritual series, exploring identity, transition and the process of letting go — work that marked an important shift in the direction of my fine art practice.

There was something particularly meaningful about exhibiting alongside Mum. Different generations, different perspectives, different ways of making — but a creative thread that has always been there.
