Strength & Diversity was selected as a finalist in the 2026 Du Rietz Art Awards.

A photographic study of the protea held in male hands, the work explores the relationship between strength and softness — resilience, vulnerability and the beauty found in contrast.

Being selected as a finalist was particularly meaningful as I continue to expand my photographic practice into fine art, creating work that sits somewhere between observation, emotion and quiet storytelling.
